Top 5 Romance Novel To Read While Traveling.

I have always been a huge fan for romance novels my entire life, reading a book a day in my free time. With autumn now in full swing, now’s the perfect time to curl up with a good book.  If you are in a mood of soulful yearning, here are some of my favorite handpicked top 5 romance novel that won’t disappoint you

  1. Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover

22 year old Sydney is enthralled by her mysterious neighbor, Ridge Lawson. She can’t take her eyes off him or stop listening to the daily guitar playing he does out on his balcony.. When inevitable encounter happens between them, they soon find themselves needing each other in more ways than one.

 Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover

From the author of the New York Times bestsellers, comes a heart wrenching novel about friendship, betrayal, and romance—and the enchanting music that inspires one young woman to put her life back together. I’m a huge fan of Colleen and have loved everything she’s written, but there is something extra special about this story. I loved how much the story centered on the music and the connection these two character shared through it. It was very cool to be able to listen to the music after/during reading.  Maybe Someday. is, hands down, my favorite romance, one I’ve read and reread countless times. Loved every chapter, every page, every word of Maybe Someday.

  1. Me before you by Jojo Moyes

Me before you by Jojo Moyes

Me before you is the story of two amazing characters, Louisa and Will. Louisa( Lou), a simple girl in her later 20’s who recently lost her job and is hopeless at everything she tries. And there’s Will, a quadriplegic who has no hope in recovery. He is trapped and wants a way out. The author has dealt the subject of handicap in an amazingly realistic way, to look beyond his disability to the man he was and she makes the readers feel what his life must have been like.  There are so many messages in this novel that touched me as a reader. Lessons about letting go, and how opening your heart can cause great pain but great joy. Every day is a gift, as we go through our own lives with stresses and challenges an important lesson is to not let fear hold us back. If you are into a tear-jerker romance, this is the book for you.

  1. Bright Side by Kim Holden

  Bright Side by Kim Holden

This is a book that I couldn’t put down, not for one measly second; once I had finished I was completely and utterly devastated. Bright Side is truly a transcendent story that I think everyone should read. I must admit I cried and did it hard and with purpose but every tear was totally worth it. I love that if I ever find myself missing Kate and her encouraging rules and wit, I can always go back to my book and dance and sing and ‘do epic’, with her. This is one emotional book that is well balanced with humor, an addictive storyline and some amazing characters. Not one character is superfluous to the story, they all have their part in bringing this story together.

  1. On Dublin Street by Samantha Young

On Dublin Street by Samantha Young

On Dublin Street is Samantha Young’s first venture into the adult contemporary romance genre and it was superbly written, definitely a page turner. This amazingly poignant story had me invested right from the beginning. It is a story of loss, grief and learning to open up your heart again. Jocelyn is quite a cool, feisty character, keeping her emotions buried deep inside until she meets Braden. The story will break your heart and make you laugh till you cry. It’s the kind of story that sticks with you for a long, long time. What started off as a simple story grew into something very deep and complex. This book is one of my favorite contemporary romances. If you are into steamy romance, I have to insist you pick it up right away.

  1. Message in a bottle by Nicholas Sparks

Message in a bottle by Nicholas Sparks

Nicholas Sparks is without doubt the master of weaving human emotions to make his stories truly remarkable. It’s nearly impossible to isolate his books from the romance book list and this book is the best I’ve ever read from him. The theme of this novel, to me, was that good can come out of even the most seemingly tragic events. The two main characters, Theresa and Garret, have both suffered huge losses in their lives.  These loses seemed like the end of the word to them until they met each other.  Message In A Bottle is not just some ordinary love story, it is an inspiring and bewitching novel that will stick in your heart. All the themes, all the characters and all the connections undeniably lure you in, to never put the book down. Nicholas Sparks’s writing is truly beautiful. The words he chooses flow impeccably making this novel a page turner.
